Why blogging so popular? Who invented blog?

Researching 8P

About this blog...

Have been heard about blogging for years. I started to know blogging could update your photos and your recent days what you have been doing. It could be traced back to 2007. That was the time, i was still at my previous company "Lead.com" (an educational content service provider for primary and secondary school students). I have a group of good colleagues, always chats and hang around together. So one of my colleague suggested we could update our photos and what have we been doing for the weekend things and others. It was fresh and fun to me and my colleagues. But it was just a flea of interest to me. I started getting lazy to update to the blog. Slowly, i have forgotten this blog.

Few years, my friend used blog as a media to advertise their games products online. Posting products and even keep gamers up-to-date recent popular games and consoles. The blog also had a small feature for user to post question and we answer chat room corner. The game blog was a success. From an unknown blog page to few hundred viewing blog. My friends, then open a game shop. This blog gave them a foundation of customers feedback of what they want and what they need. It was an "test water" (try out error) for the market needs. Their business and well then started to pick up. From one in the begin. And now expanding to 3 games shop around some teenagers hotspot shopping centre.

I started to realized that blogging is a very powerful media to reach out to people needs. Blogging could be a diary; it could be a advertising products; it could be a place to gather around your friends and know what he or she has been doing recently. And it is so flexible and very accessible that can be in many form of blog. I am a gadgets savvy guy. So i always read through many blog pages which interests me.

This blog is researching and investigating why blog is so popular to people. What is the different between conventional newspapers and magazines? Is it got to be involving into social networking? Is blogging legal? Is twitter influence by blogging? Is blogging interference your privacy life? etc
